Daniel O'Loughlin - Joins Sapentia as an apprentice Software Developer
Most businesses in the UK have been adversely affected by
COVID-19. Whether that is seeing a down turn in sales and engagement, furloughing
staff or considering rolling out redundancies.
But surprisingly, some companies have seen soaring growth through COVID-19.
We have seen a significant change in our client’s behaviour during the pandemic. Companies seem to have taken advantage of having some time to think and have looked to invest their bounce back loans into something that will unleash their company’s growth potential.
We offer bespoke set-up, training and management of the latest software that support businesses to evolve further. Our Odoo business software allows you to manage your business anytime, anywhere and on any internet-connected device. Now more than ever companies want to see all of their business processes remotely and in one, easy to view and digest place. It is imperative that companies can now streamline and manage their project management, help desk function, marketing output and results, sales pipeline, stock management, HR management, customer data, prospect data, invoices, accounts and cash flow securely from environments away from the office.
Andy Dyson, Technical Director at Sapentia, notes “Our long-term aim is to help as many local and UK companies as possible to simplify and get a grip on their business processes. They can then make educated and smart decisions to accelerate their growth. We really want to help all of our clients emerge from this pandemic in a stronger position than before. Improving their processes and minimising wasted time and effort is the first step.”
As a result, Sapentia is now growing and has just recruited an Apprentice to support with software development, a Functionality Consultant and a Marketing Manager to join the team. Sapentia have taken advantage of the current Apprenticeship Levy via the support of South Staffordshire College and the West Midlands Combined Authority.
Jane Dyson, Business Development Director at Sapentia said: “In terms of our recruitment, there really hasn’t been a better time to hire an apprentice, especially with the additional support on offer from the Government. We know many local and national businesses may have suffered significantly during this difficult period of time, but as we return to a more normal way of life, now is the right time for many Staffordshire businesses to plan for the future in the most cost effective way.”
